Job summary

BBVA’s Corporate Banking team in New York seeks an Associate to support Relationship Managers in marketing and delivering a wide range of corporate banking products, with emphasis on the Technology, Media & Telecommunications sector. You will coordinate with product partners across the US, LATAM, Europe and Asia for deal execution and risk assessment.

The role requires strong financial modeling and analytical skills, English and Spanish language ability, and comfort with fast-paced deal

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of work experience; MBA preferred.
• Fluency in English and Spanish (preferred).
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; Reuters and Bloomberg a plus.
• Knowledge of international economics and markets.
• Credit training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Relationship Managers in developing, marketing, and delivering BBVA's products to corporate clients, with a focus on the TMT sector.
• Prepare transaction summaries and risk-adjusted-return analyses for Credit Committee.
• Coordinate internal processes with Credit, Legal, Operations and Risk teams.
• Maintain CRM and pipeline profitability reporting for domestic and Latin American clients.
• Collaborate with product partners across the US, LATAM, Europe and Asia on deal execution.
