Job summary

RSM US LLP seeks an experienced Assurance Partner to lead audit and client relationships within our Technology, Media and Telecommunications practice. You will manage engagement portfolios, develop growth opportunities, and guide teams with deep technical accounting and auditing expertise.

You will partner with firm leaders to drive quality, profitability, and client success while mentoring staff and advancing the firm’s strategy in a dynamic market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Active CPA in the resident state or equivalent credential.
• 13+ years in public accounting/audit with leadership of complex engagements.
• Proven track record in client portfolio growth and profitability.
• Strong leadership and multi-team supervision capabilities.
• Deep mastery of US GAAP/GAAS and risk-based audit methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit engagements and client relationships for the Assurance line.
• Oversee multiple engagements and manage project milestones.
• Identify and address accounting and auditing issues early.
• Review deliverables and allocate resources for project completion.
• Maintain client contact to build relationships and understand goals.
• Drive profitability, billing, and engagement economics.
• Communicate audit procedures and risk to teams and clients.
• Develop external networks to support business growth.
• Provide business advice and act as trusted advisor.
• Coach and develop junior staff and leaders across teams.
• Support firm-wide quality, independence, and ethics standards.
