Job summary

Northeast Health Services, part of Transformations Care Network, is hiring a TMS Technician to support clinical services and deliver compassionate patient care. You will set up TMS equipment, monitor sessions, document reports, and coordinate appointments with an emphasis on safety and confidentiality.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma, medical office experience, and a willingness to obtain CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Experience with medical office procedures and scheduling.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality is essential.
• Completion of TMS certification during training.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and coding is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide TMS treatment according to physician protocols: set up the TMS device and monitor sessions for comfort and accuracy.
• Enter client information into systems and record session notes and superbill by end of day.
• Communicate with clients with empathy and reflective listening to support treatment for depression and other disorders.
• Provide excellent client care, building rapport and trust.
• Administer psychiatric rating scales and document outcomes.
• Schedule and manage client appointments across services.
• Maintain client safety with PPE as required.
• Investigate insurance coverage and verification issues.
• Troubleshoot issues with TMS setup and coil contact during treatment.
• Identify adverse events and communicate concerns to the TMS coordinator or physician.
