Job summary

Kolmac Integrated Behavioral Health is seeking a Full-Time TMS Therapy Technician to join a mission-driven team in Columbia, MD. You will deliver non-invasive TMS therapy, assess patients, document thoroughly, and support providers with education and follow-up care.

You’ll work in an integrated behavioral health setting with a strong emphasis on compassionate, evidence-based care. Competitive hourly pay and full benefits accompany a patient-first culture.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of mental health care and crisis intervention preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, vitals monitoring, and medical documentation processes.
• Strong communications skills for patient interaction and teamwork.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience with EMR systems is a major plus.
• Proficient use of basic computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate TMS equipment following established protocols.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history.
• Administer TMS treatments and monitor patient responses.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and EHR in HIPAA compliance.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow.

As a TMS Therapy Technician,you'lldelivercutting-edge, non-invasive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) therapy to patients managing depression, mood disorders, and other mental health conditions, contributing to Kolmac's mission of making high-quality behavioral health care accessible, dignified, and free of judgment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate TMS equipment following established protocols to ensure safe and effective treatment sessions.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history, to tailor therapy plans appropriately.
• Administer TMS treatments whilemonitoringpatient responses closely, ensuring comfort and safety throughout each session.
• Maintainaccuratemedical documentation and electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow.
• Maintainaccuratepatient records and support data-entry tasks.
• Prepare treatment room inventory, restock supplies, and ensure cleanliness and organization.
• Support providers with paperwork, patient education materials, and follow-up communication.
• Educate prospective and current patients about TMS therapy and what to expect throughout treatment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of mental health and behavioral care practices, including crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques, is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, medication administration, vitalsignsmonitoring, and medical documentation processes.
• Strong communicationskills for client interaction, education, and team collaboration.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is a major plus.
• Proficient use of basic computer applications — Microsoft apps, search engines, scanning, etc.
• Comfortable working with medical/mechanical devices.
• Patient-centered, compassionate team player who is professional, punctual, and proactive.
• Detail-oriented and tech-savvy, witha strong desireto learn, grow, and adapt.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage details effectively.
• Competitive hourly pay: $20.00 – $25.00/hr
