Job summary

Torch Technologies seeks an Engineering Technician to support the TMAS 3 contract at Eglin AFB, FL. The role involves complex test technician duties in support of Test Engineers and requires working from limited documentation, schematics, and layouts.

Qualified candidates must be a U.S. citizen with a BS in an applicable field and 0–10+ years of experience depending on level; must be able to obtain a Secret DoW clearance and work onsite M-F 8–5 at Eglin AFB.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• BS in applicable field (Level 2) with up to 3 years of experience or BS with 3–10 years (Level 3) or BS/MS with 10+ years (Level 4).
• Must be able to obtain a Secret DoW Security clearance with active investigation.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of complex test technician duties in support of Test Engineers.
• Works from limited documentation, schematics, layouts, and plans often requiring interpretation of electronic theory.
• Conducts complex product testing requiring improvisation of procedures and components to rectify malfunctions.
• May provide design details where lacking and recommend modifications to engineering design as necessary.
• May perform a variety of test engineering support activities.
