Job summary

Torch Technologies is seeking Engineering Technicians to support the TMAS 3 contract at Eglin AFB, FL. The role requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret DoD security clearance. Work involves tax-style testing, analysis, and collaboration with Test Engineers.

Onsite at Eglin AFB, the position offers comprehensive benefits including ESOP participation, 401(k) match, medical and other insurances, and education assistance. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8–5.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Level 2 requires BS and up to 3 years of experience; Level 3 requires BS and 3–10 years; Level 4 requires BS or MS and 10+ years.
• Must be able to obtain a Secret DoW Security clearance with active investigation.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of complex test technician duties in support of Test Engineers.
• Works from limited documentation, schematics, and plans, applying electronic theory and principles.
• Conducts complex product testing and improvises procedures to rectify malfunctions.
• May provide design details and recommend modifications to engineering design as necessary.
• May perform test engineering support activities and set up test apparatus to evaluate product performance.

Torch Technologies is seeking Engineering Technicians to support the TMAS 3 contract at Eglin AFB, FL.

As an Engineering Technician your duties, include, but are not limited to:

• Performs a variety of complex test technician duties in support of Test Engineers.




• Works from limited documentation, written or verbal instruction, schematics, rough sketches, diagrams, layouts, and plans often requiring interpretation and application of comprehensive knowledge and practical understanding of electronic theory and principles.




• Conducts complex product testing requiring improvisation of procedures, components, parts or apparatus and determines methods or actions to rectify malfunctions.




• May provide design details where lacking and recommend modifications to engineering design as necessary.




• May perform a variety of test engineering support activities. Selects and sets up test apparatus or devices/test equipment to test and evaluate the performance and reliability of product.

Required Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizenship




• Level 2 - BS in applicable field and up to 3 years of experience




• Level 3 - BS in applicable field and 3-10 years of experience




• Level 4 - BS or MS in applicable field and 10+ years of experience




• Must be able to obtain a Secret DoW Security clearance with active investigation. Must be able to maintain required clearance.
