Job summary

Torch Technologies is seeking a Financial Manager to support the 96 TW at Eglin AFB, FL. You will prepare program budgets, forecasts, and financial documentation, analyze data, and provide recommendations on funding and scheduling.

This role requires adept use of automated financial management systems and an active DoD security requirement. Responsibilities include creating fund management materials, supporting BER/IBR/PMR reviews, and ensuring accurate records across procurement and POM

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Ability to Obtain and Maintain an Active Secret Clearance.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in an applicable discipline.
• Up to 3–10 years of relevant experience (levels vary).

Responsibilities

• Perform budget forecasting, variance analysis and earned value management (EVM).
• Identify discrepancies and ensure accurate financial records.
• Develop funds management documentation and financial control models.

Come grow with us!Torch Technologies has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Manager to support the 96 TW at Eglin AFB, FL.As a Financial Manager, your duties include, but are not limited to the following:Prepare program budgets, reports, and financial documentation; analyze data and recommend solutions to funding and budgeting challenges.Perform budget forecasting, variance analysis, execution reporting, schedule analysis, and earned value management (EVM) assessments; provide recommendations to the program office on budget, schedule, and EVM matters.Identify accounting discrepancies, recommend corrective actions, and ensure accurate financial records.Use automated financial management systems for data analysis, reporting, and decision support.Compile division-level financial materials for metrics, audits, management internal controls, self-assessments, and routine reporting.Support the development of program-specific funds management documentation and financial control models for decision-making.Prepare financial briefings and documentation for events such as Budget Execution Reviews (BER), Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBR), Milestone Decision Reviews, Monthly Acquisition Reports (MAR), Program Management Reviews (PMR), Acquisition Strategy Plans, and Integrated Product Team (IPT) risk assessments.Draft and submit financial data documentation including procurement documents, Research Test Development and Evaluation documents, and Program Objective Memorandums (POMs).Generate reports on approved, deferred, and released funds using standard formats; identify and correct posting errors in financial records.Prepare funding documents such as Purchase Requests, Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPRs), Project Orders, and others per FM policy and regulations.Required Qualifications:U.S. CitizenshipHiring at multiple levels.Bachelor's or Master's Degree in an applicable discipline.Level 1: Bachelor's Degree in an applicable discipline.Level 2: Bachelor's or Master's Degree and up to 3 years of relevant experience.Level 3: Bachelor's or Master's Degree and 3 to 10 years of relevant experience.Level 4: Master's Degree and over 10 years of relevant experience.Additional experience may be substituted for education with customer approval.Ability to Obtain and Maintain an Active Secret Clearance.Job Type: Regular Full-timeSecurity Clearance : SecretSchedule: 40 Hrs/weekWork Location: Eglin AFBTravel: 0%-20%Relocation Assistance Available: NoPosition Contingent Upon Award of Contract: No#LI-AH1Benefits:Torch Technologies is proud to offer a stable and professional work environment, a competitive salary, and an excellent, comprehensive benefit package including: ESOP participation, 401(k) match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, flexible spending accounts, Health Saving Accounts and Health Reimbursement Accounts, EAP, education assistance, paid time off, and holidays.Applying to Torch Technologies:Only those candidates invited for an interview will be contacted.
