Job summary

Torch Technologies seeks Engineering Technicians to support the TMAS 3 contract at Eglin AFB, FL. Onsite work, Mon–Fri, 8–5, with travel 0–10% and relocation not offered.

The role requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain/maintain a Secret DoD security clearance. Candidates should have BS in an applicable field (MS preferred) and relevant experience to Levels 2–4 described above.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Level 2: BS in applicable field, up to 3 years experience.
• Level 3: BS in applicable field, 3-10 years experience.
• Level 4: BS or MS in applicable field, 10+ years experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of complex test technician duties in support of Test Engineers.
• Works from limited documentation, schematics, diagrams, layouts, and plans.
• Conducts complex product testing and rectifies malfunctions.
• May provide design details and modifications to engineering design as necessary.
• May perform test engineering support activities and setup test apparatus.

Torch Technologies is seeking Engineering Technicians to support the TMAS 3 contract at Eglin AFB, FL.

As an Engineering Technician your duties, include, but are not limited to:

• Performs a variety of complex test technician duties in support of Test Engineers.
• Works from limited documentation, written or verbal instruction, schematics, rough sketches, diagrams, layouts, and plans often requiring interpretation and application of comprehensive knowledge and practical understanding of electronic theory and principles.
• Conducts complex product testing requiring improvisation of procedures, components, parts or apparatus and determines methods or actions to rectify malfunctions.
• May provide design details where lacking and recommend modifications to engineering design as necessary.
• May perform a variety of test engineering support activities. Selects and sets up test apparatus or devices/test equipment to test and evaluate the performance and reliability of product.

Required Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizenship
• Level 2 - BS in applicable field and up to 3 years of experience
• Level 3 - BS in applicable field and 3-10 years of experience
• Level 4 - BS or MS in applicable field and 10+ years of experience
• Must be able to obtain a Secret DoW Security clearance with active investigation. Must be able to maintain required clearance.

Schedule: (M-F; 8-5)
