Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biological, environmental, or related sciences.
• 2–4 years in natural resources or related field.
• 2–4 years field data collection, data entry, analysis, synthesis.
• 2–4 years independent report writing.
• Experience with field project planning and implementation.
• Knowledge of ecology, Hawaiian biota, watershed threats.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates development of strategic level and project plans.
• Develops goals and metrics for implementation.
• Leads planning meetings with partner participation and satisfaction.
• Tracks implementation status and prepares summary reports.
• Assists in project and grant development and reporting.
• Performs fieldwork, site visits, surveys, data collection.
• Assists with outreach and planting activities.
