Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in natural resources management or related field is required.
  • Master's degree is preferred for advanced roles and leadership.
  • Minimum six years of natural resource or conservation land management experience.
  • Minimum five years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains long-range strategy, vision, and restoration plan for natural resources at Keahuolū.
  • Oversees Annual Work Plan for Natural Resources team, including scope, staffing, budget, and equipment.
  • Directs restoration planning, including phasing, outplanting, and monitoring; ensures maps guide field work.
  • Manages data design, GIS/GPS data, quality control, and long-term data preservation.
  • Prepares reporting for leadership and external agencies; communicates ecological outcomes clearly.
