Job summary

IOM Global Office Washington DC is seeking a TLP Repayment Associate to manage outreach and debt recovery for migrants’ travel loan accounts under USRAP. The role is based in Washington DC and requires English and Burmese fluency.

The incumbent will contact Participants, review data, respond to inquiries, and negotiate repayment plans while maintaining confidentiality and adherence to SOPs and data protection requirements.

Qualifications

• University degree with at least three years of relevant professional experience, or more than five years with a high school diploma.
• Experience in billing and collections is advantageous.
• Experience with USRAP Travel Loan Program is a distinctive advantage.

Responsibilities

• Initiate structured outreach calls toParticipants with overdue accounts and discuss repayment options.
• Review and enter data in systems and document contact outcomes with notes.
• Respond to general account inquiries via phone or email.
• Negotiate secure, amicable repayment agreements with Participants.
• Perform skip tracing to locate relevant parties for repayment arrangements.
• Prepare and send repayment letters to Participants.
