Job summary

Inner Spark Learning Lab in Los Angeles is seeking a TK-2 Facilitator to deliver liberatory, student-centered STEAM and life-skills development at a single site. You will guide young learners with strong classroom management, foster self-confidence, curiosity, and collaboration through inquiry-based projects and flexible instructional approaches.

The role involves building meaningful relationships with students, families, and school staff, and delivering content that reflects liberatory pedagogy

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of teaching experience (5+ preferred) in TK-2 or early elementary.
• Ability to design unit and lesson plans and assess student needs with openness to feedback.
• Proficient with Google Workspace to enhance teaching.

Responsibilities

• Implement a holistic STEAM-focused approach balancing content with personal growth.
• Foster inquiry-based learning, emotional intelligence, and social skills.
• Prepare activity kits and materials in advance.
• Communicate progress with families using the learning cycle framework.
• Plan and host events where students showcase learning.
• Build relationships with school staff and families.
• Manage up to nine classes at the assigned site.
