Job summary

Stem to the Future is seeking a TK–2 Facilitator in Los Angeles, CA. The role focuses on delivering liberatory, STEAM-based education to early elementary students and building strong relationships with students, families, and school staff.

The facilitator will manage up to nine classes at a single site, using inquiry-based methods and a strong commitment to equity and personal growth. Strong organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of teaching experience (5+ preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Ethnic Studies, Social Work, or related field.
• Experience designing curriculum for K–12 or community education settings.
• Strong facilitation skills with equity and student-centered learning.
• Ability to manage a multi-class site independently and coordinate with school staff.

Responsibilities

• Implement a holistic STEAM + personal growth approach for TK–2 students.
• Promote inquiry-based learning, emotional intelligence, and social skills.
• Plan, facilitate, and attend student showcases and events.
• Build relationships with school communities and families.
• Maintain resources and plan materials for sessions.
