Job summary

Greenleaf Elementary in Oakland is hiring an Early Literacy TK Tutor for 6 hours per day (0.80 FTE) to support TK–2 literacy development. This full‑time role reports to assigned supervisors and integrates with SEEDS/SIPPS training.

The tutor will deliver data-driven instruction, collaborate with teachers, track progress, and conduct small-group sessions daily to boost early reading and literacy outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Fluent English in reading, speaking, and writing.
• Willingness to travel between school sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide literacy instruction for TK–2nd grade students.
• Record student progress and maintain data in a database or Excel.
• Collaborate with teachers and coaches to plan and monitor literacy interventions.
• Support data-informed instruction and group-based tutoring.
