Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent plus clerical experience.
• CDL knowledge tests require completion of a trainer course and exam.
• Must pass a nationwide background check including fingerprints.

Responsibilities

• Examine, prepare, enter and print documents for licenses and registrations.
• Manage needs of banks, lienholders, insurers and dealerships.
• Process motor vehicle registrations and license/ID transactions.
• Verify eligibility per SC DMV policies and legislation.
• Administer CDL knowledge tests and perform eye screening verification.
• Answer inquiries and guide customers to appropriate areas.
• Operate camera, software and equipment to issue credentials.
• Collect fees, reconcile daily reports and manage receipts.
