With over 40 years of experience in Real Estate Law, McCabe, Weisberg & Conway, LLC has an immediate opening for a full time a Title Reviewer in our Laurel, MD office. We are a fast- paced, mid-sized law firm representing mortgage lenders, banks and financial institutions in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, DC, Virginia and Florida.
We are looking for team members who possess professional written and communication skills, strong word-processing and proofreading skills, and a willingness to work meticulously to ensure the quality of your work. This position requires a minimum high school diploma or the equivalent and at least 2 years’ experience reviewing MD, VA or DC property titles and/or Title Curative experience. Candidates need to be familiar with: title insurance commitment, policy format and all procedures required to prepare including abstracting, title examinations/review, post-closing, etc. A working knowledge of the foreclosure processes and legal documents as well as the effect on title to real property, is a plus.
This is a full-time position, with immediately availability. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications, and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
Compensation: Negotiable based on experience - non – exempt + benefits, 401K and paid time off
