Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Corresponds with the general public on values, deeds, title, probate and related assessment questions.
• Conducts title research on properties with questions or double assessments and notifies owners of corrections.
• Notifies title companies when legal descriptions are incorrect or missing mailing addresses.
• Contacts state, county, and federal agencies, private entities, realtors and property owners to secure appraisal information.
• Works with appraisers on sale values by contacting title companies to ensure proper sale price is reflected.
• Notifies attorney’s office about incorrect legal descriptions and assists in property appraisal.
