Title Financial Corp seeks a Title Officer for its Libby, MT location. The role investigates title chains, prepares reports, and issues final policies. The candidate should be highly detail-oriented with strong communication and organizational skills.

Prior title experience is required. Licenses (producer and notary) must be obtained within 90 days. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to Libby or surrounding areas are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must have producer license or able to obtain within 90 days of starting.
• Must have notary license or obtain within 90 days of starting.
• Previous Title experience required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and pass an MVR/background check.
• Proficient with MS Office and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Reviews title searches, chains of title, and all preliminary exceptions on property files.
• Prepares accurate title reports for final policies and endorsements as needed.
• Responds to customer inquiries and resolves issues on client files.
• Verifies metes and bounds descriptions by researching property details.
• Advises staff on legal descriptions to resolve problems before issuance.
• May use a company car to travel for title information and courthouse visits.
• Communicates professionally with customers and colleagues by phone, in person, or email.
• Supports company values and adapts to changing responsibilities.
• Other duties as assigned.
