Job summary

Flying S Title & Escrow seeks a Title Officer to join our Libby, MT team. The role focuses on researching title chains, preparing reports, and advising on title clearance while maintaining strong client communication and accuracy.

Ideal candidates have prior title experience or are willing to start as Jr. Title Officer or Title Assistant, with eligibility for licensure such as producer and notary within 90 days. On-site work in Libby may include occasional travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Ability to pass background and MVR checks; valid driver’s license.
• Prior title industry experience preferred for applicants with related duties.

Responsibilities

• Investigate chains of title and related documents to determine legal status.
• Prepare accurate title reports and endorse or waive objections as needed.
• Respond to client inquiries and resolve title issues promptly.
• Verify metes and bounds and legal descriptions; assist with maps and plats.
• Communicate findings and educate staff on title clearance issues.
• Travel may be required using a company vehicle; complete background checks.
