Job summary

Savannah College of Art and Design is seeking an investigator to plan, conduct, and document investigations into complaints of sexual harassment and related areas. You will interview involved parties, review university policies, gather and assess information, and prepare detailed reports while maintaining privacy and policy compliance.

The role requires handling case files, coordinating with Clery Act teams, safety offices, and student conduct, and collaborating with law enforcement and victim

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least three years of Title IX, civil rights, and administrative investigations.
• Experience and/or knowledge of conducting trauma-informed interviewing practices.
• Familiar with Guardian database and standard workplace technology (e.g., Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud).
• Knowledge of Title IX, VAWA, Clery Act and related laws in an educational setting.

Responsibilities

• Plan, conduct, and document investigations into complaints of sexual harassment, intimate partner violence, stalking, or sexual assault.
• Review policies, interview involved parties, gather information, and summarize information in a report; participate in live hearings.
• Interface with parties throughout the case with emphasis on privacy and policy compliance.
• Coordinate with university offices to manage files and reports and provide regular updates to Title IX coordinators.
• Maintain relationships with law enforcement and victim services as needed and stay informed on civil rights investigation practices.
