Job summary

University of Michigan is seeking a Portfolio Manager to oversee a portfolio of accessibility projects aligned with the library's Title II compliance roadmap. You will coordinate ongoing and planned initiatives—ranging from remediation of existing content to accessible platform workflows—and work with stakeholders across the library to foster an inclusive audit of progress.

Reporting to the Director of Accessibility, you will help prioritize work, implement standards, and support staff training

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience managing or coordinating complex projects with deadlines.
• Experience integrating accessibility best practices into digital projects.
• Experience leading a portfolio across diverse stakeholders and reconciling priorities.
• Strong communication translating complex topics to university stakeholders.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive environment with diverse viewpoints.
• Experience gathering and incorporating feedback from project partners.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate a portfolio of digital accessibility projects related to updated Title II requirements.
• Develop project schedules and timelines and track progress.
• Monitor milestones, resources, and staff support, reporting to sponsors and staff.
• Review and summarize information for lessons learned and improvements.
• Manage project communications and facilitate inclusive meetings.
• Prepare timely updates to sponsors and partners.
• Engage in professional development and service activities as needed.
