Job summary

Alamance-Burlington Schools is seeking a School Counselor (Title I) for Graham Middle School in Graham, North Carolina for the 2026-2027 academic year. The counselor will report to the Director of Student Support and the principal, work a 40-hour week, and support students’ academic, social-emotional, and career development.

Position is Title I funded, exempt, and requires a Master's in School Counseling with a valid NC license or eligibility.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in school counselor education or related field.
• Eligible for NC Counselor license or possess one.
• Experience with student data systems and reporting.
• Knowledge of ASCA Model and FERPA/HIPAA.

Responsibilities

• Provide updates on school counseling issues.
• Deliver school counseling services at school site.
• Participate in monthly school counselor meetings and committees.
• Manage monthly school counselor documentation.
• Identify student mental health support needs.
• Collaborate with staff to meet shared goals.
