Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with a Master’s in counseling or equivalent training.
• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in North Carolina.
• Enrollment in an accredited School Counselor Preparation Program with 24 hours completed.

Responsibilities

• Establish and evaluate the school counseling program.
• Provide individual and group counseling to meet student needs.
• Consult with students, parents, teachers and community to meet student needs.
• Coordinate counseling services and support student services in the school.
• Interpret test results and assist with student placement using assessments.
• Maintain professional practice and participate in professional development.
• Utilize LMS for online programs and attend trainings.
