Job summary

Southern Alamance Middle in Graham, North Carolina seeks a qualified 6-8 Math Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The teacher will plan and deliver instruction aligned to ABSS standards, manage a positive classroom, and communicate with families and staff to support student success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in an applicable field for applicable level(s).
• Must hold NC Teaching License for the assigned level and be in good standing.
• Any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan lessons meeting the needs, interests and abilities of students.
• Instruct assigned classes at designated times and locations.
• Create a classroom environment that fosters inquiry and achievement of objectives.
• Maintain records and monitor student progress as required by ABSS and law.
• Communicate with students, parents, staff and the community; collaborate across teams.
