Job summary

Idaho Falls School District 91 is seeking a Title I Tutor to support reading and math education at Theresa Bunker Elementary. The role focuses on administering assessments, coordinating with teachers, and delivering targeted tutoring to identified students.

This position is 28.75 hours per week, with pay aligned to Grade 5 at $16.39/hour or $17.19/hour with a Bachelor's degree or 5 years of relevant experience. Regular attendance and confidentiality are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 48 college credits or a minimum score of 457 on the ParaPro Praxis.
• Ability to teach reading and math with phonetic accuracy.
• Ability to administer standardized and other diagnostic tests.
• Ability to work with staff, students, and the public.

Responsibilities

• Administers reading and math tests to identify the level of student achievement.
• Works with classroom teacher and Building Administrator to determine instructional needs of each Title I student.
• Works with small groups and individual students in reading and math.
• Maintains student files to track progress per guidelines.
• Attends Parent Teacher Conferences for Title I students as requested.
• Prepares tutoring area and learning materials.
