Job summary

South Bend Community School Corp Our Lady of Hungary - South Bend, Indiana seeks a Title I Intervention Specialist for Reading/Language Arts and Math at the elementary level. The role provides 80% intervention time to Title I students at risk of underperforming in reading, language arts, and math, reporting to the building principal and Title I leadership.

Requires K-5 teaching licensure, strong communication, leadership and collaboration with Title I teammates, staff, and families to drive

Qualifications

Five (5) years of effective classroom teaching experience.
Above average ability to communicate and work well with others.
Thorough knowledge of Indiana Academic Math and Reading/Language Arts Standards.
Proven leadership ability.
Understanding of effective Math and Reading/Language Arts curriculum and instructional practices.

Responsibilities

Provides intervention support 80% of the school day for Title I students at risk in reading, language arts, and math.
Collaborates with Title I Team and Principal to order materials and support instruction.
Participates in data and staff/professional development meetings with the building principal.
Helps monitor Title I inventory and assist in Title I plan development.
