Job summary

Westfield Public Schools is seeking a Part-time Title I Family Engagement Facilitator to coordinate family events at Westfield High School and Title I schools in Westfield, MA. The role focuses on increasing family engagement and connecting families with educational resources.

The facilitator will organize family nights, provide at-home learning resources, and respond to Title I inquiries, with duties directed by school administrators. Immediate start date and part-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma/Associates degree or higher (preferred) or related coursework.
• Demonstrated interest in children and education.
• Ability to communicate and work successfully with staff, students and families.

Family Engagement Facilitator

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of authorized administrators, the Facilitator shall:
• •Facilitate Bingo for Books, Literacy, Math, and Science family nights at several Title I schools.
• Provide families and caregivers with resources which will extend the learning experience at home.
• Encourage and respond to caregiver requests for information regarding Title I
• Maintain attendance records for each family event.
• Any other duties as assigned by the Superintendent or designee.

Reports To: Director of Curriculum and Instruction

Salary: $36.00 hourly rate with no benefits; Up to 5 hours per event, to include planning, set up, facilitation, and break down. Total hours not to exceed 60.
