Job summary

Edmond Public Schools is seeking a Title I Tutor for a temporary, part-time assignment at elementary sites in Oklahoma City. The role focuses on small-group and one-on-one instruction to support identified students in mathematics and reading, under Title I guidelines and with coordination from Title I teachers.

Responsibilities include progress monitoring, data collection, and maintaining records while upholding confidentiality and district policies. Training will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of mathematics and reading/language arts education in a public school setting.
• Understanding of Oklahoma PASS and program implementation; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring in extended time programs.
• Collaborate with Title I teachers to determine supplemental instruction.
• Assist in ongoing assessment and progress monitoring for student growth.
• Maintain accurate records and required reports (time sheets, progress data).
• Adhere to district policies, confidentiality, and safety rules.
• Follow directions of certified staff and support classroom instruction.
