Job summary

Edmond Public Schools is seeking an Elementary Math/Reading Tutor for a temporary assignment at Title I sites. This role supports teachers by delivering targeted instruction to identified students before, during, or after school, under Title I guidelines.

The tutor collaborates with Title I staff to plan supplemental instruction, track progress, and maintain accurate records while upholding confidentiality and district policies.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of math and reading/language arts education in a public school setting.
• Oklahoma PASS program implementation guidance will be provided.
• Training will be provided; collaboration with Title I teachers.

Responsibilities

• Attends Title I site tutor training.
• Provides one on one or small group support in extended time programs.
• Works with Title I teacher to determine supplemental instruction.
• Maintains confidentiality of student information.
• Follows building procedures and safety practices.
• Maintains required records and progress monitoring data.
