Community Regional Charter School is accepting applications for a Title I/Electives Facilitator or Ed Tech III for the 2024-2025 school year. Must have a professional teaching certificate from the Maine DOE.
Community Regional Charter School, Maine’s first elementary charter school, is seeking to add highly engaging, flexible, creative, and future-focused learning facilitators (teachers) to our team. CRCS is located in rural Central Maine and will educate approximately 330 learners ages 4-17 in a Mass Customized Learning environment. Our Cornville Campus serves learners ages 5-13 in a flexible learning environment with 1:1 technology.
This position will be a facilitator of electives during the school day, with groups of learners doing activities such as (but not limited to) Cricut crafts, snowshoeing, soccer, robotics, physical education, music, foriegn language, etc. for ages 5-8 and 8-12 year old groups. This person will also lead Title I instruction in the mornings.
Unlike traditional, industrial-aged school systems, our learning community invites facilitators to design learning experiences for children that personalize their learning while meeting their individualized learning targets. Prior experience in a school would be preferred but we are open to having our campus be the first education experience for highly-skilled, dynamic teachers who believe in this mission and vision.
