Job summary

Old Republic Title's Eastern Title Division is seeking an experienced Title Examiner to analyze title records, examine ownership histories, and prepare title products to support real estate closings across Florida. This full-time, remote role is open to Florida residents.

You will review chains of title, identify title issues, verify property details, and collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy and timely service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of title industry experience.
• Experience examining title records, ownership histories, and chains of title.
• Strong understanding of title insurance practices and title examination principles.
• Knowledge of legal descriptions, real property records, and real estate documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

What You'll Do

As a Title Examiner, you will review title records, analyze chains of title, and prepare accurate title products that support the real estate closing process.

• Experience preparing preliminary title reports

• Experience with title plants and property information databases
• Familiarity with mapped-property searches and direct starter-based examinations
