Qualifications

• 3-5 years of title examination experience (preferably in mortgage foreclosure)
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail
• Experience using PDF applications like Adobe Acrobat and eCopy to markup reports
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience performing paperless title examinations

Responsibilities

• Examine title reports provided by third-party search vendors for mortgage foreclosure transactions
• Identify necessary defendants to a judicial mortgage foreclosure action
• Identify parties to receive notice of a non-judicial foreclosure action
• Identify superior interests, title defects and title curative issues
• Use online search portals for in-house tax and title searches
• Plot metes and bounds legal descriptions using online tools
• Obtain aerial views of subject property via online sites

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Examine title reports provided by third party search vendors for mortgage foreclosure transactions
• Identify necessary Defendants to a judicial mortgage foreclosure action
• Identify parties required to receive notice of a non-judicial foreclosure action
• Identify superior interests, title defects and title curative issues
• Utilize online search portals for in-house tax and title searches
• Ability to use online tools to plot metes and bounds legal descriptions
• Knowledge of using online websites to obtain aerial views of the subject property
