Job description

Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Our client is seeking a DevOps Engineer for a long-term, multi-year remote contract. This position offers a pay rate of $60-65/hour on a W2 basis, with candidates working directly for TEKsystems.

Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with a team to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.
  2. Design and implement technology infrastructure, develop and enhance applications, and provide technology tools.
  3. Utilize enterprise architecture to align delivery models with business needs.
  4. Gather and incorporate stakeholder feedback to develop solutions and recommendations.
  5. Support application lifecycle by addressing defects and implementing enhancements.
  6. Follow security and infrastructure maintenance best practices.
  7. Participate in troubleshooting within the hybrid cloud environment.
  8. Resolve complex incidents across multiple technologies and environments.
Technical Skills:
  • Experience with Azure Cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), including Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Pipelines, Storage, VMs, Key Vault, AKS, Redis Cache, SignalR.
  • Containerized workloads using Docker.
  • Azure Kubernetes Service (version 1.2.5 or higher).
  • Proficiency in C#, Python, PowerShell, and Bash scripting.
Pay and Benefits:

The hourly pay range is $60-$85. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, critical illness, accident, hospital coverage, 401(k), life insurance, disability, HSA, transportation, EAP, PTO, and more, subject to eligibility and plan specifics.

Work Environment:

This is a fully remote position.
