Netflix is seeking a Data Lead for the Title Data Management team within Content Data Management. You will own the knowledge and response to title lifecycle changes across multiple data models, partnering with product and engineering to shape data frameworks and workflows.

You will define what title means in evolving formats, build cross‑domain rules, and lead the team’s response to upstream changes while maintaining clear documentation and metrics for leadership.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in entertainment products, databases, or data management.
• Experience collaborating across product and engineering teams without direct authority.
• Strong analytical abilities to turn ambiguity into clear frameworks.
• Ability to work independently, scope problems, and define workflows.
• Experience creating roadmaps with dependencies across teams.
• Project management skills to scope, track milestones, and coordinate work.
• Experience providing metrics and insights to leadership and partners.
• Excellent communication to translate technical nuance for diverse audiences.
• Knowledge of data lifecycle and data governance concepts.
• Proficiency with Google Suite and table-based applications (e.g., Excel, Airtable).
• Flexible in evolving environments and AI-forward thinking.

Responsibilities

• Identify and establish relationships with product and engineering teams to evolve data models and taxonomies.
• Prioritize learning areas based on business needs and various title data formats.
• Assess impacts of adjacent-system changes on title data and lead responses.
• Build trust with partner teams through influence and shared goals.
• Document changes within the title lifecycle and contribute to automation workflows.
• Define what 'title' means for new content formats and translate into operational rules.
• Maintain a cross-domain duplicates framework to avoid downstream disruption.
• Partner with Data Lead on title integrity and with Data Quality Analysts on knowledge docs.
• Set goals and success metrics for the lifecycle domain and report progress to leadership.
• Contribute to roadmap initiatives and annual strategic goals.
