The Opportunity

We are seeking a full-time Title Closer / Escrow Officer to join our Port Clinton office at 3898 E.

Harbor Light Landing, Port Clinton, OH 43452. You will conduct residential and commercial real

estate closings and manage escrow files from contract through post-closing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct real estate closings with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, and lenders.
• Prepare settlement statements and closing disclosures; balance and disburse escrow funds.
• Review title commitments, surveys, payoffs, and lender instructions to confirm closing readiness.
• Coordinate with lenders, agents, and clients to schedule closings and resolve last-minute issues.
• Handle post-closing work including recording, policy issuance, disbursement, and file management.

Qualifications

• Title insurance industry experience strongly preferred.
• We will also consider candidates with relevant experience in real estate, mortgage lending, or banking.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management in a busy closing environment.
• Clear, professional communication with clients, agents, and lenders.
• Ohio title agent license a plus; we will support the right candidate in obtaining licensure.
