Job summary

A&D Mortgage LLC, based in Troy, MI, is seeking a detail-oriented Title Closer to manage final stages of residential real estate closings. The role acts as liaison between buyers, sellers, lenders, and title professionals to ensure compliant, timely closings.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in title/escrow, knowledge of title insurance and real estate transactions, and proficiency with SoftPro or similar software.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in title, escrow, or real estate closings.
• Knowledge of title insurance, escrow processes, and real estate transactions.
• Experience preparing Closing Disclosures (CDs), ALTA Settlement Statements, and closing documents.
• Proficiency with SoftPro, RamQuest, Qualia, ResWare, or similar title software.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
• Active Title Producer, Settlement Agent, Escrow Officer, or equivalent state-required license/registration for MN, IN, MD, MI, IL, KY, KS, NJ, CO, PA, and VA.
• Notary Public commission preferred.

About this opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Title Closer to manage the final stages of residential real estate transactions. This role serves as a key liaison between buyers, sellers, lenders, real estate agents, and title professionals to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely closings. The ideal candidate has strong title and escrow knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage title and escrow closings from contract to funding.

• Prepare and review Closing Disclosures (CDs), ALTA statements, and closing documents.

• Resolve title issues, liens, and recording requirements.

• Coordinate with lenders, borrowers, real estate agents, and attorneys.

• Disburse funds and ensure timely recording of documents.

• Handle closings for properties located in MN, IN, MD, MI, IL, KY, KS, NJ, CO, PA, and VA.

Location and Schedule

• This is a full-time, office-based position in a modern, cozy environment in our office in Troy, MI.

• Our standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, promoting a healthy work-life balance.

Skills & Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in title, escrow, or real estate closings.

• Knowledge of title insurance, escrow processes, and real estate transactions.

• Experience preparing Closing Disclosures (CDs), ALTA Settlement Statements, and closing documents.

• Proficiency with SoftPro, RamQuest, Qualia, ResWare, or similar title software.

• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.

• Active Title Producer, Settlement Agent, Escrow Officer, or equivalent state-required license/registration for one or more of the following states: MN, IN, MD, MI, IL, KY, KS, NJ, CO, PA, and VA.

• Notary Public commission preferred.
