Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Title Processor to handle vehicle title processing in line with state DMV guidelines and to ensure timely and accurate service for customers.

You will process titles daily from dealerships, banks and credit unions, respond to inquiries across multiple channels, and resolve title-related issues with professionalism while maintaining confidentiality and supporting other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years’ experience in titles, automotive industry, or related.

Responsibilities

• Process vehicle titles using state DMV guidelines in a timely and accurate manner to assure a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Accurately process incoming titles daily from dealerships, banks and credit unions.
• Answer customer inquiries or concerns in person, email, fax or telephone in a professional manner.
• Troubleshooting and problem resolution specific to titles; odometer discrepancies, power of attorney, etc.
• Maintains a professional, calm manner when negotiating with difficult or upset customers.
• Maintains a high level of confidentiality.
• Assures all phone calls and inquiries have been answered by the close of the day.
• Assist other departments as needed or assigned.
