Qualifications

• Education: one of the listed options (HS diploma or GED, Associate degree, 32 credits, Praxis ParaPro).
• Experience: prior work with school-aged children preferred.
• Skills: strong interpersonal and public relations with students, parents, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teacher in delivering instructional programs.
• Provide individualized and small-group instruction per teacher guidance.
• Reinforce concepts and respond to student questions in learning activities.
• Administer and score tests as directed by the teacher.
• Support safe classroom environment and behavior management.
• Maintain records and assist substitutes in teacher absence.
