Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) in Albany, OR, seeks an experienced TIG welder for titanium aerospace castings. You will weld in an argon chamber, repair castings to exacting specs, and use precision tools to ensure quality.

Qualifications

• Titanium TIG welding experience is required.
• Completion of a formal vocational welding program or >1 year TIG welding experience.
• Must pass a welding test within four weeks of starting employment.
• Must pass an annual eye examination.
• High school diploma or GED; or relevant experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on titanium castings inside an argon‑atmosphere chamber.
• Repair castings according to established procedures and specifications.
• Use precision tools to complete repairs.
• Develop and execute rework plans to bring castings back into specification.
• Maintain welding equipment and work area in a clean, safe condition.
• Follow all procedures and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
