Consolidated Precision Products Corp (CPP) Albany facility is seeking a TIG Welder for aerospace parts manufacturing. The role focuses on titanium castings welded in a controlled chamber under argon atmosphere, with prior titanium welding experience required.

Qualifications

• Formal vocational program completed or 1+ year TIG welding experience required.
• Must pass welding test within 4 weeks of start date.
• Must pass an annual eye exam.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with/without accommodations.
• Read and use measurement tools accurately.

Responsibilities

• Titanium TIG welding in chamber to repair castings.
• Use calipers and templates to repair castings.
• Collaborate with team on rework plans to meet specs.
• Use grinder to shape tungsten.
• Load and unload castings from chamber.
• Maintain clean, orderly work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
