Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Canton, Ohio is seeking a Utility Operator to join a high-energy titanium production team. This on-site role covers operation of melt, revert and grind operations with duties ranging from Grind Operator to Torch Operator.

The shift runs 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, five days a week, with opportunities for overtime. Starting pay is $19 per hour, plus benefits from day one, an annual bonus, attendance bonus and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Basic computer skills.
• Problem solving and good communication.
• Ability to read and interpret production orders.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment such as tow motors, scales, hand tools, torches, and computers.
• Follow documents such as production boards, shift logs, procedures, work instructions, checklists and manuals.
• Inspect product quality and ensure compliance with work standards.
• Take ownership of equipment and housekeeping duties.
• Set up, operate, and perform routine maintenance on machines.
• Inspect and verify weight and quantity of items produced.
