Job summary

VulcanForms Inc. seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to develop, optimize, and sustain titanium powder handling and post-print manufacturing processes.

You will ensure safe, compliant movement and traceability of titanium powder while driving process improvements and equipment readiness on the production floor. In this role you will partner with Operations, Quality, Materials, and Production teams to implement robust, scalable processes, write clear work instructions, and support manufacturing

Qualifications

• Hands-on manufacturing engineering in production/support
• Regulated environment experience (A&D/Medical Device a plus)
• Equipment setup, qualification, IQ documentation, production readiness
• Clear technical documentation and work instructions
• Experience with ERP systems (Epicor a plus) and MES
• Strong troubleshooting and floor support
• Data analysis and process improvement
• Comfort with powder handling environments and PPE requirements

Responsibilities

• Support titanium powder handling operations and post-print processing.
• Manage powder lot control, supplier traceability, and MES/ERP transactions.
• Work in Epicor and shop-floor systems for tracking and documentation.
• Assist setup and qualification of powder handling or post-print equipment.
• Perform IQ activities with engineering and operations teams.
• Create and maintain work instructions and process documentation.
• Serve as hands-on engineering resource for operators and technicians.
• Troubleshoot equipment, process, and material-flow issues on the floor.
• Support DOE activities, data review, and process documentation.
• Collaborate across engineering, operations, quality, and production teams.
• Maintain safety in a controlled powder-handling environment.
