Job summary

ATI is seeking a Lab Aide at the Richland, WA facility that melts titanium and titanium alloys for aerospace and medical markets. The role emphasizes precise data, organization, and basic math/computer skills with at least six months of lab experience preferred.

The position features rotating 12.25-hour shifts with overtime after 8 hours, and a focus on safety and accuracy in analytical laboratory work. Full-time onsite employment with a comprehensive Total Rewards package is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to follow work, process, quality, and safety procedures.
• Strict attention to detail is essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to interact with employees, customers, and management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with databases; experience with statistical software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate scales to ensure accurate material weights.
• Assist with sample processing, storage, archiving, disposal, shipping, testing, and sampling from the furnace.
• Prepare melt samples using button melting, punch press, and lathe operations.
• Assist with testing using laboratory equipment; enter data into LabTrack system.
• Maintain daily check sheets and log books; perform PM maintenance (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly).
• Perform laboratory cleaning tasks and follow safety trainings; participate in safety programs.
• Operate forklifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
