Job summary

CPP Corporation is seeking a Metal Finisher I for titanium aerospace parts production in Albany, Oregon. This position focuses on removing imperfections from castings and preparing components to specification in a clean, safe environment.

The role requires precision measurement, adherence to work orders, and collaboration with the dimensional and training teams. A swing shift with a $1.00/hour differential is available.

Qualifications

• Must understand dimensional tools and inspection techniques.
• Able to read tech cards, routers and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate a pneumatic hand grinder to remove imperfections and position castings.
• Inspect work using measuring tools to ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Operate a belt grinding machine to surface grind and blend welds on castings.
• Measure parts and visually inspect for defects, marking as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the workstation and tools.
• Assist in training Finisher I personnel.
