Gift of Hope Organ & Tissue Donor Network is seeking a Tissue Recovery Technician to perform tissue recovery procedures from deceased donors with strict aseptic protocols. The role requires handling surgical instruments, coordinating with hospital teams, and precepting new staff in a highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining aseptic technique in sterile environments.
• Proficiency using scalpels, sutures, and tissue handling tools.
• Ability to work in a high-stakes, carefully monitored tissue recovery setting.

Responsibilities

• Use surgical instruments to recover authorized donor tissue.
• Prepare and drape donor for tissue recovery, maintain aseptic conditions.
• Coordinate with team and hospital staff during recovery operations.
