Job summary

Miracles In Sight is seeking a Recovery Coordinator in Bartlett, TN to facilitate donor tissue recovery operations in a compliant, safe manner. You will work with QA, Clinical, and Distribution teams to ensure high-quality tissue for transplantation and research.

The role requires attention to detail, strong documentation, and the ability to manage multiple priorities, including after-hours shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or related field preferred with two years of experience.
• Strong documentation, organization, and assessment skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to donor notifications and plan recoveries.
• Schedule and deploy recovery teams and ensure readiness.
• Conduct sterile corneal tissue recovery using in-situ and enucleation techniques.
• Draw and qualify blood samples for serological testing.
• Review donor medical records to determine eligibility and document properly.
• Label, package, and ship tissue and samples per SOPs.
• Maintain compliance with FDA, EBAA, and regulatory standards.
• Enter donor and recovery data into approved databases.
