Job summary

Gills Point S Tire & Auto is hiring a Service Technician in Oregon to perform tire services, inspections, and basic automotive maintenance, helping keep customers safe on the road. Training is provided for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old.
• Automotive or tire experience is a plus; training provided.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in an active shop environment.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Positive attitude and good communication skills.
• Team player who enjoys helping customers.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, balance, rotate, and repair tires.
• Inspect vehicles for tire wear, damage, and basic maintenance concerns.
• Assist customers with tire recommendations and service needs.
• Perform basic vehicle services and safety inspections.
• Operate shop equipment safely and efficiently.
• Help maintain inventory, shop cleanliness, and organization.
• Work as part of a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
