Job summary

Gills Point S Tire & Auto Service is seeking a Service Technician to perform tire services, inspections, and basic automotive maintenance. You will mount/dismount tires, balance, rotate, and assist customers with service needs in a fast-paced shop.

Training is provided for those new to automotive work. This full-time position offers a supportive team, growth opportunities, and safety-focused operations.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old.
Automotive or tire experience is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right person.
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
Ability to lift heavy objects and work in an active shop environment.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Positive attitude and good communication skills.
Team player who enjoys helping customers.

Responsibilities

Mount, dismount, balance, rotate, and repair tires.
Inspect vehicles for tire wear, damage, and basic maintenance concerns.
Assist customers with tire recommendations and service needs.
Perform basic vehicle services and safety inspections.
Operate shop equipment safely and efficiently.
Help maintain inventory, shop cleanliness, and organization.
Work as part of a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
