Job summary

Pine Belt CDJR MS in Meridian, MS is seeking a Tire Technician to mount, balance, rotate and repair tires for passenger, light and heavy trucks, and to assist with field service calls.

You will perform fleet inspections, maintain TPMS, load inventories, follow safety procedures, and lift 30–250 lb. A valid driver’s license, ability to pass a drug screen, and reliability are required. Experience with heavy-duty tires is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+; 21+ to drive
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
• Experience with heavy-duty/commercial tires preferred but not required
• Able to lift/move tires 30–250 lbs with or without assistance
• Able to perform repetitive physical exertions including bending and kneeling

Responsibilities

• Mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires for various vehicle types
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial vehicles

• Operate service truck when necessary; respond to service calls

Job description

• Mount, balance, rotate, and repair all types of tires: passenger, light truck, large truck, and industrial
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial vehicles including:
• Perform fleet inspections and routine maintenance checks
• Operate company vehicles safely, following all traffic and speed regulations
• Respond to service calls using a service truck (F-350) when necessary
• Load/unload inventory and assist with physical stock counts
• Use and maintain Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS)
• Follow all safety procedures, training guidelines, and company policies
• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills / Education / Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older; 21 years or older to drive

• Experience with heavy-duty/commercial tires preferred, but not required
• Ability to lift/move tires weighing 30-250 lbs., with or without mechanical assistance
