Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers in Madras, OR, is hiring for a Sales & Service role focused on tire installation, maintenance and sales. You will deliver excellent customer service, install and balance tires, rotate and repair tires, and assist with TPMS calibration and related tasks on-site.

The position emphasizes safety and efficiency, requires a valid driver's license, the ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and a fast-paced work environment. Training is provided, with benefits after eligibility.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required and able to provide excellent customer service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and assist customers effectively.
• Frequent lifting of weight between 35-75 pounds and regular bending and kneeling.
• Willingness to stand, walk, reach, and use tools and equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Installation and maintenance of tires and wheels; repairing, rotating, inflating tires.
• Attaching/rebalancing wheels; TPMS calibration and testing.
• Washing tires and wheels; testing batteries and operating service equipment.
• Providing courteous service and promoting store sales.
• Occasional offsite and emergency road service assistance.

Job Description:Sales & Service (Tire Installation, Maintenance & Sales)The Sales & Service position is responsible for the sales, service and maintenance of tires and wheels, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.Primary Responsibilities:Installation and maintenance of tires and wheels; repairing, rotating, and inflating tires; attaching and rebalancing wheels; installing/rebuilding and/or relearning/calibrating TPMS; washing tires and wheels; testing and installing batteries; using and maintenance of equipment; assisting other employees; test driving vehicles; and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.
